Caviness & Cates would like wish the United States Marine Corps a very Happy 236th Birthday!
Founded on November 10, 1775 by Captain Samuel Nicholas, the USMC has been a keystone in military defense and protection, serving in every American conflict since its inception.
Local celebrations took place November 9, at Liversedge Field at Camp Lejeune in Jacksonville, NC. Traditions included cutting the Birthday Cake “Warrior Style”, passing of the sword, and new soldiers showcasing the battle attire worn throughout the generations of the organization.
With 15,000 Camp Lejeune Marines and sailors still set to be deployed, Caviness & Cates continues to extend our support to the dedicated men and women that live everyday by their Semper Fi motto.
