"Fourth Friday" and "The Streets Are Alive" celebrations invite the community to downtown, which is host to themed events, artists and musicians.
Looking to get outside? The farmers market and Carolina Grown bring fresh, seasonal produce from regional farmers. The Cape Fear Botanical Garden offers 78 acres of specialty gardens and blooming ornamental plants nestled between the Cape Fear River and Cross Creek. Fayetteville is also home to the Airborne and Special Ops museum, which is a great attraction to take visitors.
