Our team had such a great time at Dirty Whiskey Craft Cocktail Bar next to Dirtbag Ales Brewery & Taproom in Hope Mills, NC for this year’s company picnic. We all enjoyed good laughs, ate tasty BBQ, and played fun games to bond as a company. We all played a "get to know your team" bingo and "company trivia" to test our knowledge of Caviness & Cates Communities and Cates Building.

Together, our team brought in about 1,500 food items to donate to The Balm of Gilead, which feeds the homeless as well as assists agencies such as Carolina Outreach & Veterans of the Carolinas. With the food items, we split off into teams to create a structure built from the donated goods. It was great to see all the creative minds come together to build structures like a train station, airport, giant tower, and replica of the Parthenon!
