Today, we are highlighting one of our Granville home plans designed by one of our #HappyHomeowners!
Our Granville plan is a 2,724 square foot home (2,876 square feet with the Carolina Room option!) with 4 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, a formal dining room, spacious kitchen, and second-floor loft! This Caviness & Cates homeowner brought their dream home to life with our upgrades and selections offered in our state-of-the-art Design Studio! Follow along as we spotlight our favorite rooms and point out the finishes they chose to make this Granville plan their place to call home!
Exterior
This home’s exterior is our Elevation K for this plan. It includes a 2-door garage, Dutch-hips with gables, shake accents, and an extended front porch with tapered columns on a stone pedestal. This homeowner chose to go with a muted and subtle exterior with earthy green tones. The colors for the fiber cement siding are Sherwin Williams’ Contented SW6191 for the body siding and Retreat SW6207 for the shake. They chose a 6-panel door painted in Sherwin Williams Greenblack SW6994 with a 5/0 transom and 2 ½ light sidelights.
The backyard to the home includes our covered porch with grilling patio option, making for a great entertaining space during the warmer months!
Formal Dining Room
Upon entering the Granville home plan, the formal dining room is located right off of the foyer. This home includes the picture frame wainscoting, coffered ceiling, and walls painted in Sherwin Williams’ RainstormSW6230. The 9-light chandelier fixture included in the center of this space is part of the Franport brushed nickel lighting package (model: 3128909-962 By Visual Comfort & Co).
Gourmet Kitchen
This Granville kitchen includes our gourmet kitchen layout with a natural gas cooktop, upgraded chimney hood, and the microwave and oven installed into the wall. The muted, grey-toned selections create a great base for any interior design, whether the homeowner chooses to use bold colors or soft tones in their decorations and furniture.
The finishes included in this kitchen are3x6 114 Desert Grey subway tiles with 44 Bright White grout set in a brick pattern, Luna Pearl granite with a ½ bullnose edge, White Shaker FP cabinets with clear glass door accents,Moen Brantford brushed nickel faucet, Norwood brushed nickel pendants (model: 6139801-962), and Richelieu brushed nickel pulls (model: 6501195). The durable LVP (luxury vinyl plank) throughout the main living spaces is Resolute 5” 5039 Distinct Pine flooring.
Primary Suite
The first-floor primary suite is the perfect place to recharge after a long day. This primary bedroom includes a tray ceiling, Sherwin Williams’ Passive Gray SW6230 on the walls, Santa Fe doors, and Concrete Graceful Finesse carpeting.
The primary bath features CS23 12x12 ceramic tiles with 78Sterling Silver grout flooring, a large garden tub, a fiberglass walk-in shower with decorative tile accent, brushed nickel Brantford plumbing package, Naval Shaker FP cabinets, 3-light fixtures part of the Canfield lighting package, and brushed nickel Richelieu BP9161196195 pulls.
